EPIK Interview

Just got done with my EPIK interview to teach English in South Korea.

I feel very good about it. It was my first Skype interview, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. I have the worst luck with video chatting. For one, I think I am awkward on it. Secondly, my computer always crashes in the middle of it. But that didn't happen this time around!

They asked me a variety of questions. Many were to confirm some things on my application. Those were easy!
Some of the questions were hypothetical. For example, what would I do if my Korean teacher was giving the wrong information to the students. How would I handle this?

Other questions included:
How would you compare the US to Korea/ what are the differences?
Describe your time in Scotland and why did you choose Scotland?

There were many others, but I am having trouble recalling them all.
Overall, I feel great about my interview.
He was very impressed with my rec letters.
He also liked that I know some French.
He asked me a lot about my friend, Mia!! haha. She's Korean. ;p

Drop questions if you want to know more.

p.s. my top half of my body was wearing jewelry and a dress shirt, the bottom half was in pjs and slippers. Yay for Skype interviews. haha.

Visas

Getting to the UK was work, but it was also my first visa application process. Not to mention, I had to deal with silly class credit and school paperwork. Just a nightmare trying to get across the border. Nerve-wrecking. However...

Applying to Korea is work, but I am at ease with it.

I am probably speaking to soon, yeah? haha.

These scents got me through summer.
